Schools Background

The school opened on Monday 8^th January 2004 at Mbagala Rangi Tatu Tanita – Mali asili ya zamaani street where we rented a building. The school opened with 2 teachers and 3 pupils. The founding director of the school is Mr. Kalungi M. Idris. The founding head teacher of the school was Mr. Kaddu Ibrahim. The school begun with nursery classes up to Primary 2. In December 2007 the school acquired a piece of land, erected classrooms and office structures and by September 2008 we shifted to our permanent premises. On 9^th July 2010 the school got registered by the Ministry of Education and Technology.

The school was originally called Wisdom Pre and Primary School; in 2017 the administration changed the school name to Salaam Pre and Primary School.
